As long as one of the elements is affected by a certain elemental defense, the whole outcome of the ability is changed.

For instance, an Wind+Earth ability cast on someone with Half Wind and Absorb Earth will be healed for half the amount.

Each elemental defense can only be applied once, no stacking of damage or protection.
