Start a new game, and when you get to the naming screen, hold L1+R1. Then, press start, and select the OK option. You'll go to the next screen, but instead of the birthday selection, you'll have 96 numbered options, and each is a piece of music. Exiting the menu always leads back to the music test at this point.
Note: If you're stuck at the name entry screen, then you're pressing the wrong button to accept the name used. One button cancels back to the name entry screen, another accepts the entry, and will let you continue on (<less<)
